My Bowen Story
I wasn't in healthcare when I first experienced Bowen. A really wonderful friend rescued me - and something shifted. Not just physically. Something clicked.
She convinced me to train. It was a significant investment of time and money, I had no healthcare background whatsoever and a small baby. It inspired me to retrain, relocate from the UK to Canada to become a Registered Massage Therapist, and build a busy, fulfilling practice that I'm still deeply passionate about nearly two decades later.
So if you're sitting there thinking you're not qualified enough, or it's too big a leap - I understand that feeling. I've been exactly there.

So here is what the course looks like- and what you can expect when you say yes.
The Foundation Course
This is not a weekend workshop. The Bowen Foundation course is a genuine training programme- a meaningful investment of both time and money, and one that can open the door to a fulfilling new practice or a powerful addition to an existing one.
The course runs across four weekends, these are scheduled with reasonable gaps between them- dates are arranged to suit the group. This gives you time to practice, absorb and come back with real questions.
You'll also complete case studies, access online learning content, and if you have no anatomy background - a complimentary anatomy course is included to ensure you have the foundation you need.
Location varies by season - sessions are held either at my teaching space or at a local venue in the Kawartha Lakes.
Dates are scheduled based on interest. I keep classes small - between four to six students - so everyone gets the attention they deserve.
